My Approach

I take a biopsychosocial approach to therapy, understanding that biology, psychology, environment, and socioeconomic circumstances shape well-being just as much as what’s happening internally. Well-being isn’t just a mindset; it’s built on real conditions.

My framework is simple: first things first. Before we dive into trauma processing, ADHD strategies, or deeper emotional work, we make sure the basics are covered, safety, stability, and daily functioning. Once that foundation is solid, the deeper work has something to stand on.

Meet Hallie.

founder of unbridled healing

I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work and am a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. As a Nebraska native, I opened Unbridled Healing to bring accessible, compassionate care to clients ages 13 and up as they navigate life's many transitions.

I work with clients experiencing PTSD responses to past experiences, grief, life adjustments, and the disorientation that can come with major change. I use a client-centered approach to help individuals discover their own strengths and find solid footing again.

I primarily utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Ego-State Therapy in session. I view EMDR as transformative work, not limited to trauma processing alone, but capable of opening space for deep personal growth and change.

My goal is to create room for clients to explore who they are, where they want to go, and what's standing in their way.

My trauma-informed lens means I never push clients toward healing before they're ready. Instead, I walk beside them, honoring their own pace and process along the way. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity and acceptance, offering a safe space for clients to make sense of their experiences, emotions, and thoughts, and to find steadier ground to stand on.

I believe true growth takes time and dedication, and I'm honored to walk alongside my clients as they work toward a more fulfilling life.

Specialties

Clients seeking support often come to me looking for help with:

  • ADHD, at any stage of life. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, questioning a late diagnosis, or a parent trying to manage your own ADHD while raising kids and life’s demands.

  • Processing trauma, for those who feel ready to actively work through what’s happened, not just managing symptoms.

  • Making sense of neurodivergence, understanding how your brain works and building a life that fits it, rather than fighting it.

  • Navigating a life transition, new roles, new stages, or unexpected change that’s left you feeling rattled.

  • Grief, loss in all its forms, and learning to carry it.

A Space to Be Fully

Therapy doesn't have to be about having the right words or knowing exactly where to begin. It's about having a space where you can show up as you are, feel heard without judgment, and begin making sense of what you're carrying. Together, we'll create a supportive and collaborative space where you can move at your own pace, reconnect with yourself, and discover what healing can look like for you.

“We have to belong to ourselves as much as we need to belong to others. Any belonging that asks us to betray ourselves is not true belonging.”

—Brene Brown
